"... Jon plays with a fire in his belly a lot of musicians just don't have."                 - Larry McCray

"TOP GUN"

While showing a sense of modesty, Archambault has become one of Michigan's best blues guitarists. His meticulous attention to detail has mesmerized audiences and one senses that Archambault is where Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton meet. So commited to making the best music possible Archambault has subscribed to the philosophy that a great guitarist will only take a band so far and that it takes a band to make a band.

"The way I see it - I have already accomplished more than I set out to do. My goal (when I started) was to get through one song on the guitar." Said Archambault. "So everything else is just a gift."

"On the verge of breaking out on to the National musical scene possessing talent, a flair for the stage, and the influence of growing up in Northern Michigan."

A hot guitar player that's been turning heads up north and around the Midwest is Jon Archambault. His guitar playing has been compared to such greats as Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Archambault took up the guitar during his Military days after watching Buddy Guy and Stevie Ray Vaughan on the popular PBS show "Austin City Limits". The next morning he bought himself a Fender Stratocaster and taught himself to play. Upon returning to northern Michigan he formed Mojo & the Boogieman. The blues infused group became one of the areas favorite club and festival bands, opening for several national blues bands such as BB King, Edgar Winter, and Larry McCray. McCray, a great blues guitarist in his own right, has become a big fan of Archambault and helped his band land a gig at the coveted Buddy Guy's blues club in Chicago.

Once in Chicago Archambault wowed the hard to impress crowd, in a city that has more guitar players than taxi cabs. The group was immediately signed to return engagements. Archambault possesses the talent to move on to the bigger stages as a solo artist.
